About Ubix
Ubix Therapeutics develops novel anti-cancer drugs based on Degraducer® platform technology.
Degraducer® is a powerful, next-generation inhibitor technology that enables targeting of disease-related targets that were previously undruggable.
We are developing novel anti-cancer therapies based on conscientious research and understanding of the human immune system and target proteins. Our goal is to increase life span and improve quality of life for affected patients.
KRICT • KRIBB
We have received a technological transfer of the novel E3 ligase binder, which compose the platform technology Degraducer®, from KRICT(Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology) and the KRIBB(Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology). Our collaboration with two organizations continues to improve Degraducer® and develop Degraducer® applied therapeutics.
POSTECH
With POSTECH’s proprietary HTS system, we are discovering groundbreaking ligand hits for previously undruggable target proteins, and through utilization of them, we are developing highly marketable, first-in-class drugs.
Gachon University
Through collaboration with Gachon University, we are securing structural information of target proteins, designing new drugs based on the data, and discovering diverse E3 ligase binders.
Kyungpook National University
We are continuing close research collaborations with Kyungpook National University based on their top-level in-silico screening and in-silico modeling technologies, particularly in identifying structural characteristics of drug molecules and proteins and in optimizing chemical drug candidates.
NeoImmuneTech
In March 2020, Ubix Therapeutics entered into an Exclusive License Agreement with NeoImmuneTech to develop drug candidates including T-Cell Suppressor Blockades.
Debiopharm
In June 2021, Ubix Therapeutics and Debiopharm entered into a co-research agreement combining two novel proprietary technologies to specifically target cancer cells. The two companies are aiming to develop a new drug modality known as Antibody Degraducer® Conjugates (ADeC), by combining one of Ubix’s Degraducer® molecule, with Debiopharm’s antibody drug conjugate linker, Multilink™.
SK Biopharmaceuticals
Ubix Therapeutics and SK Biopharmaceuticals entered into a research collaboration agreement with SK Biopharmaceuticals to develop new therapeutic compounds and medicines for a potential treatment of cancer. The two companies will develop anti-cancer treatments by using Ubix’s Degraducer® platform technology, through the application of targeted protein degradation(TPD) and SK Biopharmaceutical’s drug development skills. TPD has been gaining attention as an emerging therapeutic modality that is able to “tackle and eliminate” proteins that cause cancer – an alternative to using conventional small molecules.
YUHAN
Ubix Therapeutics announced that it has entered into an exclusive license agreement with Yuhan to develop and commercialize preclinical androgen receptor (AR) degrader program, UBX-103. Under the terms of the agreement, Yuhan will have exclusive, worldwide rights for the preclinical and clinical development and commercialization of UBX-103.
